Independent GLP-1 safety and efficacy data — sourced, citable, and free to explore.
Our Mission
Magistra builds an independent, fully-sourced GLP-1 safety and efficacy database, and makes it free to explore for patients and doctors, and available for research and licensing.
Our Story
Magistra was founded on a simple observation: GLP-1 medications work, but the information patients and doctors need to use them safely is scattered, incomplete, or sponsored by whoever is selling the drug. Side-effect rates quoted online differ by an order of magnitude depending on the source. Real-world outcomes rarely match trial results, and almost nobody separates the two. Nobody had put the evidence in one place, sourced and citable.
We build and publish that evidence: a continuously updated database drawn from clinical trials, FDA adverse-event reports and regulators, plus a small, dated pool of patient-reported outcomes (Reddit, its main source, has blocked our collector since 28 May 2026, so the pool barely grows — 26 distinct reports, the latest from 12 August 2026 — and every figure built on it is published beside that denominator), plus free tools that turn it into a personalised risk picture for weight loss, side effects, and long-term outcomes.
How We're Different
We're an independent data company — not a healthcare provider, a pharmacy, or a drug seller. We don't prescribe, don't dispense, and take no money from drug makers, pharmacies, or telehealth sellers, so our numbers have nothing to sell.
Every data point in our database keeps its source. Clinical trial evidence and real-world patient reports are computed separately and never blended into a single misleading number. Our full methodology is published and citable at magistra.health/en/methodology.
